I wish I would have purchased this a year or two ago, it works great! I've tried QuickBooks Financial Statement Editor, and your program has much more flexibility in creating great looking financials. Keep up the good work!! CPA
Every month I create compiled custom financial statements from QuickBooks and it's a real pain. I bought QuickBooks' FS reporter but it did not really do what I needed. QuickBooks was very nice and gave me my money back. Karl Irvin, a CPA in Arlington, Texas has come up with the answer. With Karl's Custom Financial Reporter I can quickly and easily produce presentation quality financial statements. I just finished reformatting my financial statements for the Financial Reporter software I just purchased from you. It works great!!! Except for some minor adjustments I will likely have to make each month for rounding difference, your software will automatically generate our financial statements for us. Wow, what a relief. over the weekend roaming around the demo version that I had downloaded. It's
truly elegant in it's simplicity and utility - I wish all programs were written
half as well. With just a small investment in time, I can set up the links
to financial statements that are exactly the way I want them to be with none of
the compromises required in any of the other similar programs. Also, I
hadn't been able to figure out a way to export from QuickBooks to an excel
spreadsheet that would prevent the need to do quite a bit of additional work to

Our CPA firm works in a specialized industry and the “Custom
Financial Reporter” has been a tremendous savings to us in obtaining the
necessary financial formats for reporting. We use QuickBooks due to its
flexibility and ease of use, but it is lacking in a good “Custom Financial
Reporter”. The “Custom Financial Reporter” is easy to use, easy to set up
and maintain. We had our financial statement set up within an hour. Once you
have a report designed, you can set up Excel macros to print all the financial
statements, including compilation reports. Our firm works well with Excel, so
once we have the trial balance data, we can design and customize anything. Their
technical support has been very good to answer questions and has always
responded back in a few hours. We just finished our Sept 30 year-ends, and
because of the “Custom Financial Reporter”, it saved our firm hours of not
having to manually key data once our trial balance was adjusted. I highly
recommend the “Custom Financial Reporter” for your needs. L
